"Home Challenge" with Renuzit Pearl Scents #DesignYourAir + Giveaway

"The Renuzit brand provided me with a sample of Renuzit Pearl Scents in exchange for a product review. However all opinions expressed below are my own."

Renuzit challenged myself and other bloggers to add some depth and decor to our homes using Renuzit Pearl Scents.  Renuzit Pearl Scents were designed to accept and highlight your home decor as well as provide lasting freshness.

RenuzitPearlsScents photo photo 2 3.jpg Renuzit Pearl Scents come in five pleasing aromas:  Blue Sky Breeze, Sparkling Rain, Serenity, Tranquil and Seductive Pineapple.  We received the Blue Sky Breeze which is the light blue color and the sparkling rain which is a lime apple green color.

Armed with a gift card provided for the challenge I began my shopping spree at TJ Max. I was pleasantly surprised by the huge selection and great prices. The store in Gainesville, Florida had tons of throw pillows, wall art and lots of items with that beachy and lake side style I was hoping for.   I picked up some pillows that matched the new green Sparkling Rain Renuzit Pearls perfectly and definitely added some color for my living room. I've been wanting to give my decorating a style a more coastal Florida flare.  This store gave me tons of new decorating ideas.

I ended up choosing a cute picture and wall hooks to add to the room for some style. These will definitley bring some color and style to the room.  Before I had no pillows and I'd say they make a huge difference.  The room is so much more cheery and smells great too thanks to the long lasting sparkling rain Renuzit Pear air freshener .

My Thoughts:

We've been teaching signs to our class all school year long.  The Magic Mirror is recommended for ages 3 to 6 years old as a part of the Once Upon a Sign series.   I think that the story line was a little bit old for my three year old class but they really enjoyed learning new signs. Sparkle a magical character who enters the room through a "magic mirror" was a hit.   I'm happy to have this new addition to our classroom movie library. I look forward to trying some of the other titles in the Once Upon a Time series next school year.

Cost of Survival, Book #1

COSfrontAnger isn’t an emotion anymore, it’s more of a survival mode I can’t afford to let go.
My dad predicted World War III would happen in his life, but he died two years before… with my brother…
…before Mom and I walked in search of refuge from the bombing.
Strengthened by her faith, Mom never feels alone. But me? I don’t know what to believe or where to turn. Someone once said keep your friends close and your enemies closer, but I disagree. Friends scare me the most. They know me and my mom. Nothing about them is safe.
The ones in charge… Control everything…
Crud, I’ve started crying because I’m scared I won’t survive World War III. But a bigger part of me is scared I will.
My mom is bleeding in my arms and she’s making me promise to follow her three rules.
Pray. Don’t trust anyone. Stay alive.
How long do I need to break all three?

Exchange Rate, Book #2

exchangerateI’m pregnant and I couldn’t be more excited. But the community Bodey, his dad, and I live in has rules. Rules that make Mom’s rules seem like safety nets.
Only 200 people are allowed at a time. My baby will make it 201.
The leader is making me choose someone from our house to die so there will be room for my child. Either I make the decision or they take… my…
Even in the craziness that the world has become, I refuse to believe only 200 can live in it at once.
The “community” is safe-ish, comfortable. We have food, warmth, and there isn’t immediate danger of being robbed while we sleep.
Doesn’t it make sense we’d have to exchange something for all that?
I’ve survived this long. Maybe that’s enough. Maybe I should die so my family can live. Or maybe I can get through the lines and find a people worth sacrificing for.

Worth of Souls, Book #3

Come back every day for new changes to win! a Rafflecopter giveaway
WOSfront Running for my life and six months pregnant, I’m terrified but confident in my decisions. With my love and family behind me, captured by the same man who chases me, I have only a small window to find help. The baby needs to come out eventually.Nobody said the end of the world would define people so much. Everywhere I turn I have to prove my worth.Mom was gone before I learned my value lay in my eyes. Not others. But how would that save Bodey? How could my worth change how the world me spins? If I can’t figure it out, everyone I love will die, trapped in a place where even following the rules won’t protect us. Amazon iBooks Nook Kobo   Bonnie R. Experience Real Florida at Faver-Dykes State Park Campground

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in a natural Old Florida atmosphere then you might want to check out Faver-Dykes State Park.  This peaceful Florida Park borders the Pellicer River as it winds around East Florida. As we traveled down the LONG LONG dirt road to Faver-Dykes I questioned would we ever reach the campground. Surrounded by woods, and swampy areas I felt like I had stepped back into Real Florida wilderness.

Faver-Dykes State Park photo FaverDykes.jpgFaver Dykes State Park photo FaverDykes2.jpg

What Is There to Do:

  • Fishing
  • Nature Trail
  • Take a walk along Pellicer River
  • Kayaking
  • Bird Watching
Faver- Dykes State Park is a stop on the Great Florida Birding Trail and also a state designated canoe trail.

The Campground:

The campground itself has just 30 sites that form a loop. The sites are fairly large and located under the beautiful Florida hammock. Each site has water, a picnic table , grill, electric and a fire ring and is semi private.  Each site can hold a 25' to 35' RV. Don't expect to have great internet or cell service. You are really in the wilderness here.  This is truly a get away from the hustle and bustle of ever day life.  You are hiking around the woods in Florida, so yes ticks are present.

Faver-Dykes State Park photo FaverDykes3.jpgFaver-dykes state park photo FaverDykes4.jpg

The boat ramp is small but good. The fishing on Pellicer Creek is great with trout, flounder and red drums. There are several very nice picnicking areas through out the park.  There is a nice playground area for the kids to play on. The Park Rangers were very friendly and helpful. Ice and Wood can be purchased at the ranger station.   The bathroom facilities were nice and clean.

About the Author:

jillcooperI could write this in the third person. I could tell you what I like, where I was born, and what my favorite things are.

But instead, I'll say I don't want to write like everyone else. I don't want to craft stories you've read a thousand times before. I want my novels to be a cinematic experience, blending themes, genres, and situations unlike any you've ever read.

I want to break the rules. I want you to break out in a cold sweat as you read my books out of fear, love, and excitement. I want my books to be an experience. When you finish, I want you to feel something. Good or bad.

If you do, then I'll have succeeded. If not, I'll keep trying. Website | Twitter | Facebook | Newsletter | Literary Addicts | Goodreads | Tsu
